Julip HOTY Custom - "Banner" theme

 Having painted my Sindy and flock victims, I delved into my craft supplies and found this Julip Horse of the Year body. Again, it's been subjected to earlier experimentation: even after stripping the paint some strange pigment remained staining the plastic.

I decided I wanted to try painting an Appaloosa for the first time, partly because one of my favourite childhood models was a prized Julip "Banner" on this mould. Here is a very old photo of Banner:

I found some reference photos online and decided to go with this horse as there were several different angled shots of him:

And here is the finished custom horse! I used my better Arteza acrylics now I'm slightly more confident. She has brown-and-black glossed eyes, mixed black and white mohair mane and tail, and a wire dock in her tail for posability. (She ended up with rather a lot of tail, but she can keep it and be fancy.)

Now I just need to come up with a name - maybe something that links back to "Banner".
